About Eden
I know learning a new language can feel daunting and overwhelming at first, but what I built for me, and what I build in my lessons around is immersion: reading, watching films and shows, and speaking as much as possible.
That's how I learned English, it's how a language starts to feel natural instead of like homework. In our lessons, we'll talk, read, and explore real French as people actually speak it, with the grammar and vocabulary explained clearly when they come up. I'll help you with pronunciation, build your confidence, and bring in material that matches your interests, whether that's a film, a song, or an article.

Salut! I’m Eden, a native French speaker based in Toronto who has lived in Paris. I’m also fluent in English, so I can explain things in whichever language helps you most.
I have a university degree in Korean, so I know what it’s like to learn a language from the beginning, and I know which parts are hard. I’ll never make you feel silly for making a mistake.
Lessons are online, relaxed, and built around what you need: conversation practice, pronunciation, homework help, travel French, or getting more confident speaking. We’ll start with a quick chat to see where you are, then go at your pace.
I’m comfortable on video, patient, and good at explaining things simply. I have a background in writing and editing, so I can also help with essays and written French.
Message me and we can set up a first lesson!
