About Sacha

I am a bilingual French and English speaker who lived in France for 18 years and now study Finance and Digital Banking at the University of Sussex. Having grown up fully immersed in the French language and culture, I understand both the challenges and best methods for learning it effectively. My lessons are structured yet friendly, focused on helping students gain real confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding French. Whether you’re a beginner, preparing for exams, or looking to improve conversational skills, I provide clear explanations, practical exercises, and personalised guidance to help you progress quickly and enjoy the learning process.

About the lesson

•My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Style I focus on making each lesson practical, engaging, and tailored to the student’s goals. My teaching style is conversational and adaptive, I aim to build confidence in speaking and comprehension by using real-life examples, short dialogues, and interactive exercises rather than strict memorisation. I also like to explain grammar in a simple, logical way so students understand why the language works the way •Techniques and Methodology I often mix structured learning (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation) with more dynamic activities such as short discussions, listening practice, or reading short texts. I adjust my pace based on how the student learns best — whether they prefer a visual, auditory, or interactive approach. My goal is to make students comfortable using French in everyday situations, not just in theory. •Typical Lesson Length Most of my lessons last about 45 minutes to 1 hour, which gives enough time to introduce new material, practice, and review without feeling rushed or overwhelming. •Qualifications and Experience I’m a university student in England studying Finance and Digital Banking, but I lived in France for 18 years and am fully fluent in French. I’ve helped classmates and friends improve their French informally, and my bilingual background allows me to explain complex ideas clearly and relate to learners who may struggle with pronunciation or grammar. •Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are ideal for beginners to intermediate learners — school or university students, professionals, or anyone wanting to improve their conversational French, grammar, or pronunciation in a supportive and easygoing environment.
