About Selma

Hi! I’m Selma, a native French speaker and a student in the World Bachelor in Business program, a global degree across USC (Los Angeles), Bocconi University (Milan), and HKUST (Hong Kong). I got 20/20 in French on the Bac, and I speak French, English, Italian, and Arabic. Having studied in both the French system and the American/international system, I really understand what it’s like to navigate different approaches to learning. I adapt my lessons to each student, whether you need help preparing for an exam, improving your writing, or just feeling more confident speaking. I’m friendly, structured, and I genuinely enjoy helping people progress in French, no matter their level.

Whether you're working toward an exam, improving your written French, or just want to feel more comfortable speaking, I offer lessons that are tailored to your needs and learning style. How I Teach My lessons focus on clarity, structure, and confidence. I believe in building a solid foundation — grammar, vocabulary, syntax — but always through practical use. Expect a mix of exercises, conversation, reading, writing, and listening work, depending on what you’re aiming for. I use real texts and examples to keep things relevant and engaging, not just textbook drills.
