About Océane
Hello everyone! I'm Océane, your new certified French teacher !
I’m native from the South West of France, near Bordeaux, and I’ve done my studies in linguistics, regional studies and didactic of French in Paris, in the great universities of La Sorbonne and INALCO !
Since I was a little girl, I dreamt of travels and adventures, and upon completion of my studies, I decided to travel the world with my partner and my cat, while teaching my beloved native language, French, and learning others’ languages. I'm now a polyglot, knowing 12 languages between the levels of B1 and C2. I’ve also taught private classes and group classes to all types of profiles, from small kids to professionals who would like to relocate to a French speaking country.
I can thus help you in all your projects requiring french language, and I’ll be happy to tailor the classes to your specific needs, goals and tastes.
I wish to make French learning an enjoyable and exciting experience for all my students.

Based on your specific needs and objectives, I will organize a programme that will help you progress in the language and achieve your goals. Based on what you want, I can take a more fun approach using resources such as films, music and short stories, or a structured academic approach.
I use a wide variety of ressources and materials, in order to make sure the student gets the most tailored class for them.
I really enjoy teaching speaking skills too and help the student build self confidence in the language.
I am patient and enthusiastic, teaching makes me happy, and as a language learner myself, and a polyglot, I understand the process, the difficulties and the needs of the learner. Having studied linguistics, I understand French grammar very well and therefore know how to explain it to you clearly and pleasantly.
As I have studied didactic of French (FLE), I have a deep understanding of the learning process.
