About Noelle
I am a dual citizen of Austria and the United States, and both German and English are my mother tongues. I have spent the majority of my life in Vienna, Austria, where I was constantly surrounded by and speaking German in my daily life. I earned my degree in German Literature and Linguistics at the University of Vienna, and I have also studied four additional languages while living and studying in multiple countries. This background gives me a unique insight into the challenges language learners face and how to overcome them. I know firsthand what it takes to move from theory to confident communication.

I focus on conversation-based learning. Many students already have good reading and writing skills, but oral communication often lags behind. My lessons are designed to fill that gap by creating an immersive, dialogue-driven environment where you gain the confidence to express yourself naturally in German. We work through real-life topics, role-play situations, and spontaneous dialogue to make sure you can communicate effectively outside of textbooks. Each session begins with a short warm-up to get you speaking right away. We then move into guided conversation around a theme — such as daily life, travel, culture, or current events — while I introduce new vocabulary and gently correct grammar and pronunciation. Lessons end with a recap and suggestions for practice until our next meeting. My tutoring is best suited for adults and advanced high school students who want to improve their spoken German. Whether you’re preparing for a move abroad, advancing your career, or simply want to converse with confidence, I adapt each session to your level and personal goals.
