Deadly! I chose Jonas out of the vast line up of potential tutors because I saw that he is from Bavaria - and I am living in the neighbouring Baden-Württemberg (but I'm from the UK) and I was keen to be taught by someone who is familiar with the local dialect. I didn't have any real expectations going into my German lessons with Jonas, and I'm very happy that Jonas is a far better German teacher than I could ever have asked for. I'm in quite a specific place with my German learning, where I need lots of help filling in the gaps with grammar. Jonas works in a way that is very flexible to my needs, never hesitating to address a specific question or confusion that I might have. He's also happy to go over specific vocabulary that I need for my unique living situation. I am lucky that I'm not working towards any exams or set qualifications, but it's very clear to me that Jonas has a thorough understanding of British German GCSEs and A Levels - as he often makes reference to exercises or needs he has to fulfil with his school students. He explains things very clearly and he can always demonstrate things in different ways if I didn't understand something the first time around. Not only is Jonas excellent at teaching German but he's personable, our lessons always fly by as they're so much fun. I have never been naturally strong at languages and used to dread lessons at school but with Jonas there's so much joy and I love my sessions with him. So if you or your child needs German tutoring - Jonas is your person!

Deadly! We are half way through a week-long German intensive for both my children, in preparation for our home move. Jonas is very friendly, committed, comes in every day with a structured lesson plan tailored to their abilities and respective pace.
They can both feel they are making serious progress thanks to Jonas while also enjoying their lessons and we would highly recommend him !

Deadly! We spend three hours on a long face to face lesson and I must say it that time went flying by. Jonas is incredibly friendly, interesting and had the right balance of when letting me make mistakes as to let me flow or when it was the right time to make corrections and explain things in depth. He is a great teacher with very clear simple ways to clarify issues. I will continue to meet him. I highly recommend him.
