About Laurin

Hello, I'm Laurin, a native German speaker currently pursuing an MBA at London Business School after three years working at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, I studied at the London School of Economics and completed the International Baccalaureate, including Higher Level German.

Alongside my studies, I gained several years of tutoring experience, supporting students with German language learning, exam preparation and oral assessments. I have always enjoyed helping others build confidence in their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.

I enjoy working with a broad range of learners, including school and university students, professionals working in international environments, individuals relocating to German-speaking countries and anyone looking to improve their German for personal or professional reasons.

As someone who has studied and worked internationally, I understand the importance of clear communication and tailor every lesson to the individual goals, level and learning style of each student.

Lessons are fully online and tailored to your individual objectives.

Whether you are preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB or university examinations, improving your conversational German, developing greater confidence in speaking and pronunciation, or using German in a professional setting, lessons will be adapted to your specific needs.

Deadly! Laurin is a brilliant tutor. His explanations are very clear, he is patient and he is very good at breaking the language down so I can get a better grasp of the grammar. I would highly recommend him to others interested in studying the German language! :)

Deadly! I was really impressed with Laurin - we spoke one the phone prior to our first lesson and he sent me some material beforehand, based on what I'd told him I wanted to focus on. He challenged me from the very beginning and I came away with more knowledge than before. He's also a super friendly guy!
