About Giulia

Ciao, I’m Giulia!

I’m a native Italian speaker, I grew up in Italy and then lived in Paris, France, for eleven years and in Colombia for four years.

Today, I travel around the world as a digital nomad and have been teaching Italian and French online for almost six years, through personalized lessons designed around my students’ goals.

Languages and cultures have always been two of my greatest passions. Thanks to my lifestyle, I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and listening to the stories of the people I meet.

That’s why we never run out of things to talk about in my lessons!

Having learned several languages and lived abroad for many years, I understand the challenges you may face: struggling to find the right words, being afraid of making mistakes, or knowing the grammar but not being able to use it naturally.

That’s why I aim to create a relaxed environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and gradually becoming more confident.

During our lessons, we can work on:

• conversation and pronunciation
• grammar and sentence structure
• expanding your vocabulary
• listening comprehension through videos and audio activities
• practical Italian for traveling or living in Italy
• preparation for Italian language certification exams
• Italian culture and topics chosen according to your interests

I don’t follow the same program with every student. Some students prefer to focus mainly on conversation, while others need a more structured learning path and a deeper understanding of grammar. During our first lesson, we’ll identify the method that works best for you and create a program that reflects your level, interests, and goals.

About the lesson

I have almost six years of experience teaching online and have taught more than 5,000 lessons to students of different ages, nationalities and levels.

Over the years, I have helped students with a wide range of goals: learning to speak Italian from scratch, improving their conversation skills and pronunciation, understanding grammar better, preparing for a trip or a move to Italy, and studying for an Italian language certification exam.

During our lessons, you will have access to:

• a digital textbook suited to your level, from A1 to B2
• videos and listening activities
• grammar, vocabulary and practical exercises
• personalized conversations and learning materials
• a shared Google Doc that we will use as a virtual notebook
• optional homework to continue practicing between lessons
