About Francesca

I am a native Italian speaker (originally from the North of Italy) and I have been living and working in London for the past 8 years.
I have started giving Italian language classes during my university years and I have gained experience teaching to all level students (from beginners to advanced and business level students).

As my background is in Business and Finance, I also offer private Italian language classes for business professionals along side academic essay writing support for Italian language students.

About the lesson

My teaching method is called audio-lingualism: I am a strong believer in the idea that language learning requires learning habits. Repetition is the mother of all learning. My methodology emphasizes drill work in order to make answers to questions instinctive and automatic. I used this methodology myself when I started learning English (prior to moving to the UK 8 years ago) and I found it the most time-efficient and results-producing approach.

I focus on one-to-one or small group classes as I highly value the importance of giving each student the required attention needed. Also, prior to taking on any new student, I usually suggest to have an informal conversation during which we discuss learning goals and timeline. On the back of that first consultation, I draft a custom-made study plan built around each student's individual objectives.

I offer Zoom video call classes Monday to Friday in the evenings (5.00pm to 10.00pm).
Weekend classes are also available from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

- In person class in London £/h 18.00

Pricing for Business level classes:
- Zoom video class £/h 22.00
- In person class in London £/h 25.00

I offer discounts for students purchasing multiple hours upfront.
