About Roberta
As a native Italian speaker, my passion for history and languages was sparked by some exceptional high school teachers whose enthusiasm for the subjects they taught inspired me. Over 25 years later, that same passion continues to drive me. I hold a Master's and PhD in Early Modern History from the Warburg Institute in London, where my research focused on primary sources in Latin and Italian. This experience helped me develop strong bilingual skills, both spoken and written. During my studies, I taught Latin, Latin Paleography, and Italian to Master's students, as well as privately to adults. In addition, I have worked in the Royal Archives, where I interpreted manuscripts from the 17th to the 19th century in multiple languages.

In addition to my experience and expertise, what truly sets my tutoring style apart is my deep passion for the subjects I teach, which I bring to every lesson.
My teaching methodology blends traditional approaches with modern techniques, emphasizing verbal communication while incorporating written material for comprehensive understanding. What will determine the style and content of the classes is the objective of the student which I'll want to understand on day one.
I work with students of all ages, from middle and high school through to university, and I am also passionate about helping adults at any stage of their learning journey.
