About Andrea

Hello! My name is Andrea, and I am a native Italian speaker from Italy currently living in Calgary, Canada.

I am passionate about languages, communication, and helping others achieve their learning goals. In addition to teaching private students, I also work with the Italian School of Calgary, where I help students develop their Italian language skills in a structured and engaging learning environment.
Over the years, I have worked with learners of different ages and backgrounds, helping them improve their Italian for travel, work, family connections, citizenship, and personal enrichment.
As someone who has lived abroad and adapted to a new culture, I understand the challenges of learning a foreign language. This experience allows me to explain Italian clearly and patiently, making lessons accessible and enjoyable even for complete beginners.

I am reliable, organized, and committed to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their language abilities.

My teaching approach combines practical conversation, clear grammar explanations, vocabulary development, and cultural insights, helping students use Italian naturally in real-life situations.
