About Marco Andreas

I grew up in Milan before moving to the UK to study at the University of Bristol. I have lived in London for 8 years and I am dedicated to pass on my love of Italian culture and language.

I completed the IB Diploma with Italian B as a Higher Level subject. I have tutored students through conversation and translation classes, as well as helping them with their written work.

About the lesson

I teach through creative approaches, which sets me apart as an Italian tutor. From absolute beginners to confident Italian speakers of all ages, my lessons are perfect for students who are seeking a dynamic and immersive learning experience. My passion for Italian language and culture, combined with innovative teaching methods, make me a great choice for students looking learn Italian.

Through conversation, reading and writing lessons I have tutored 16-18 year olds and prepared them for IB examinations (Italian B, Standard and Higher Level) as well as adults wanting to gain confidence ahead of a holiday abroad.

My lessons are tailored to cater to the student's interests. Some examples include:
- Thematic lessons. Lessons designed around specific themes like Italian cuisine, art, fashion, or history. Each lesson can include vocabulary, grammar, and cultural insights related to the theme.
- Role-Playing Activities. Recreating real-life scenarios such as ordering food at a restaurant or introducing themselves in Italian. This approach makes learning practical and helps students gain confidence in using Italian in everyday situations.
- Multimedia Resources. Incorporating a variety of multimedia resources such as Italian films, music, podcasts, and online articles into my lessons. These resources expose students to authentic Italian language and culture, making learning more enjoyable and relevant.
