About Silvia

Ciao! I'm Silvia, a native Italian speaker born and raised in Bergamo, in Northern Italy. I now live in the United States and have always enjoyed connecting with people from different cultures and helping them gain confidence in speaking Italian.

Having lived and worked internationally, I understand what it's like to learn and use languages in real-life situations. This experience has taught me the importance of clear communication, patience, and adapting to each person's learning style.

I'm passionate about sharing not only the Italian language but also the culture, traditions, food, and everyday expressions that make Italy so unique. My goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.

My teaching approach

I focus on helping you use Italian from the very first lesson. Rather than memorizing long vocabulary lists or complicated grammar rules, you'll learn how to communicate naturally through conversation, real-life situations, and interactive activities.

Grammar is introduced gradually and explained in a simple, practical way, so you understand how to use it in everyday speech.
