About Naomi
Hi, My name is Naomi! I live in the United States in the state of Illinois, which is in the middle of the country. I was born in Japan but grew up in New York and New Jersey. I recently moved to Illinois from California. I have worked as a professor at a college, helping students succeed in their goals, holding conversation groups for non-native speakers, and helping students to express themselves. I enjoy learning new languages and have studied Spanish and German as well. I consider myself to be fluent in both English and Japanese and have a reading comprehension level in Spanish and German. I am TESOL certified and while in Japan, I took the level two EIKEN test and passed with honors. I took the TOEFL to attend Creighton University and have also earned two master's degrees. My passion is hiking, travel, reading, baking and learning new things. I hope to see you in my class!

A lesson for EIKEN, TOEIC will focus more on listening comprehension and writing.
Lessons can be requested for job interview practice, studying abroad in the US, presentation editing, business etiquette and reviewing papers.
