About Marina

I am a 21-year-old junior at the University of North Florida majoring in Kinesiology. I was born and raised in Japan, so I am a native Japanese speaker and fluent in English. Because I understand both languages and cultures, I can clearly explain Japanese in a way that is easy for students to understand. Having experienced both public and private schools in Japan, I am familiar with different learning styles and teaching methods. I am confident in helping students improve while creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment. In the future, I hope to become a physical therapist, and I am passionate about working with people and helping them grow.

About the lesson

I focus on creating engaging and interactive lessons that match each student’s level and goals. Because I am a native Japanese speaker fluent in English, I can easily understand a student’s current ability and adjust my teaching style accordingly. My lessons are designed to be relaxed and supportive, helping students build confidence while improving their speaking, listening, and understanding of natural Japanese used in daily life. I work with beginners to advanced learners and personalize each lesson to fit their needs and pace.
