About KYOKO

- I was born and raised in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and I’m currently living in Australia.
- I have over 10 years of professional experience in Tokyo across several industries, including food import and export, international PR, travel, and retail.
- I’m currently completing a 420-hour Japanese teacher training course, where I’m deepening my understanding of Japanese grammar and language teaching.
- People who know me often describe me as thoughtful, responsible, cheerful, and friendly.
- In my free time, I enjoy cooking (especially Japanese food), embroidery, hiking, playing futsal, and getting involved in environmental conservation.

In our trial lesson, I’d love to hear about your interests and what you’d like to achieve through learning Japanese.

Even if you’re not looking to learn Business Japanese, you’re very welcome to reach out if we share similar interests and you’d like to practice Japanese together!

About the lesson

Drawing on my 10+ years of experience working in Japan, I can help you understand how Japanese is used naturally and appropriately in the workplace, including how to choose the right expressions for different situations and people.

Each lesson is tailored to your goals and interests!

Here are just a few things we can work on together:
- Job interview preparation: Practice answering interview questions and get feedback on your Japanese CV or résumé.
- Keigo and everyday communication: Learn how to communicate naturally and appropriately with your boss, colleagues, and clients.
- Business emails and phone calls: Practice writing clear, professional emails and handling common phone conversations.
- Meetings and presentations: Learn useful expressions for sharing your opinions, asking questions, and presenting your ideas.
- PR and communication for the Japanese market: Explore natural Japanese expressions and ways to communicate effectively with a Japanese audience.
- Hospitality and customer service: Practice useful Japanese expressions for hospitality and customer-facing situations.

Tell me what you find challenging or what you’d like to achieve, and we can work on it together at your own pace.

Whatever your current Japanese level, I’ll make our lessons comfortable, practical, and useful.
If you’re nervous about speaking entirely in Japanese, I can also explain things in English when needed. ;)

I look forward to helping you build confidence in Japanese and seeing you in a lesson!
