About Hyein
Hi! I’m a native Korean speaker fluent in English, so communication will be smooth and easy during lessons. I have over 3 years of teaching experience — I’ve taught English and Maths to students in both one-on-one and 학원(hakwon). Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong teaching skills, such as adapting lessons to different levels, explaining concepts clearly, and helping students stay motivated. Now, I’m excited to bring this experience into teaching Korean. Whether you're just starting out or want to practice real conversation, I’ll tailor each lesson to help you reach your goals in a friendly and supportive way.

Korean Lessons with a Native Speaker – For Beginners & Intermediate Learners Do you want to start learning Korean or take your skills to the next level? I’m here to help you speak Korean with confidence! I offer friendly and personalised lessons for both beginners and intermediate learners.
For beginners: Learn to read and write Hangul (Korean alphabet) Understand basic grammar and build simple sentences Practise essential vocabulary and daily expressions Improve pronunciation and listening skills Get cultural context and real-life usage.
For intermediate learners: Improve fluency through structured conversation Discuss a variety of topics: culture, current events, travel, work, hobbies, etc. Expand vocabulary and learn natural expressions Receive detailed feedback on grammar and pronunciation.
My teaching style: I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning pace. I use a mix of conversation, grammar exercises, and real-world materials to keep classes engaging and effective. Lesson duration: 45–60 minute sessions are most popular. Once or twice a week is ideal, but I’m flexible! Deadly! Hyein has been a wonderful instructor so far, I am more than satisfied and will be continuing my Korean lessons with her!
