About Wanyan
Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker and currently a postgraduate student at the University of Melbourne. I understand the challenges of learning a new language while juggling work, study, or daily life, so my approach is patient, practical, and flexible. My goal is to make every lesson relaxed, encouraging, and genuinely helpful, with a focus on real communication rather than memorizing rules. I enjoy getting to know each student and tailoring the class to what they personally want to achieve.

My lessons are designed to help students build confidence in both spoken and written Mandarin. As a native Mandarin speaker with previous experience as a teaching assistant, I am particularly strong in guiding students through pronunciation, conversation practice and writing skills. Each lesson is approximately 60 minutes and tailored to the student’s age, level and goals.
