About Jiaying
Hi! I'm Jiaying, a postgraduate student at UCL studying Sociology. I grew up in China as a native Mandarin speaker and have been living in London for the past year. I have 3 years of tutoring experience working with students of different ages, and I genuinely enjoy helping people learn and build confidence in a new language.
I believe everyone can learn Mandarin with the right support and encouragement. Whether you are a complete beginner or a heritage learner, I will work with you at your own pace to help you achieve your goals.

I offer personalised Mandarin Chinese lessons tailored to each student's goals and learning pace. As a native Mandarin speaker currently completing my postgraduate degree at UCL, I have 3 years of tutoring experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds.
My lessons are suitable for complete beginners who want to start learning conversational Mandarin, as well as heritage learners looking to maintain or improve their Chinese. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are fully customised to your needs and schedule.
