About Miguel
Hey, I'm Miguel - British Venezuelan with a love for cheese, coffee and travelling (in that order) ️ ️
I'm a native Spanish and English speaker. Creds include A* in Spanish at A-level and GCSE, and just speaking, reading and writing in Spanish all my life as my mother tongue.
What gets me excited about teaching Spanish? Put simply, it's one of the most used languages in the world. So whether you're in Spain, South America or even the US - speaking Spanish is a game-changer
My tutoring style is pretty relaxed, and conversational. While I always make sure we cover key learning goals, I also try to bring the content to life as much as possible, using different media (e.g. videos, music, movie snippets) to keep learning fun and engaging. And I always encourage as many questions as possible - that's how I know you're paying attention

-- Diving into main lesson content through interactive learning media to keep things fun! e.g. games, videos, songs (20 mins)
-- Conversational role-play to apply new learning in real-worls setting (10 mins)
-- Written exercises to cement new vocab and grammar being explored (10 mins)
-- Lesson wrap-up and de-brief on key learning goals achieved (10 mins)
