About Corina

I am a Spanish translator and Interpreter. Also I am a NQT Spanish teacher. I have been translating and interpreting since 2009. I have studied business and Spanish language and now I am focused on Spanish lessons, helping students from different levels and different ages to build their confidence. I am focused on writing, speaking, translation and reading which I will build toghetere with you. Also I am focused to prepare students for Spanish GCSE Exams

About the lesson

I am a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages educator whose professional journey has been shaped by both Romania and the United Kingdom. Originally from Romania and a native speaker of both Spanish and Romanian, I have built my teaching career within the British education system, where I have gained experience teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE Spanish, preparing students for external examinations, and creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that encourage every student to succeed.

I believe that language learning is about much more than grammar and vocabulary—it is about building confidence, curiosity, intercultural understanding, and meaningful communication. My teaching is centred on high expectations, positive relationships, and evidence-informed practice. I enjoy designing interactive lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while fostering resilience, independence, and a genuine love of learning. As a GCSE Speaking Examiner, I have also developed a strong understanding of assessment and how to prepare students for success.

Having lived and worked in different countries, I value diversity and enjoy learning from people with different cultures, languages, and perspectives. I am adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development, with a particular interest in language acquisition, vocabulary retention, and innovative teaching approaches. I am excited to join an international school community anywhere in the world where I can contribute my experience, continue to grow as an educator, and inspire students to become confident, compassionate, and globally minded individuals. For me, international education is not simply a career choice—it is a way of building meaningful connections across cultures and helping young people thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
