About Jose

I am a 27 years old born from a Venezuelan father and an Spanish mother, I lived in Colombia for 2 years while I was traveling and spending from 1 to 2 months in countries like Ecuador, Peru, Brasil, Dominican Replubic and Mexico.

I was working in the HR department for an airline so I had to talk to many people and finding common ground in our words to have an effective communication since all Spanish can vary depending on the demographic. That gave me the capacity to find words and sentences that are more neutral and easily understandable for all Spanish speakers while also avoiding phrases and words that can be offensive depending on the country even if they are of a fairly common use for others.

I graduated as psychologists back in my home country and I have worked the past 6 years here in the US in sales and customer service related fields which also has kept my interaction with people from multiple countries and backgrounds always going and constantly building up.

About the lesson

Experienced in multiple type of accents and the different idioms, I would focus on working in pronunciation and phonetics, making sure that your comprehension capabilities are top and that you are able to carry a conversation and sound like a native speaker. With my experience I can help you create a professional or casual language background that will allow people of any Spanish speaking country to understand you and carry out a conversation with you.
