About Esteban

Hello! My name is Esteban and I am a native Spanish speaker from Argentina. I have been teaching languages for more than six years and currently work as a Spanish teacher in the United States.

I have always enjoyed languages, communication, and cultural exchange. Teaching Spanish allows me to share my language and culture while helping students reach their personal goals, whether that is improving conversation skills, preparing for exams, or simply feeling more confident speaking Spanish.

Because I live and teach in an English-speaking environment, I understand the challenges that English speakers often face when learning Spanish. This helps me explain concepts in a clear and practical way.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, culture, and learning about different countries and perspectives. I am also a certified esports coach and esports industry specialist with three years of experience in this field. Gaming has always been my passion and I find joy in competitive gaming.

I believe language learning should be an enjoyable and motivating experience, and I try to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and making progress.

About the lesson

My goal as a tutor is to help students feel comfortable and confident using Spanish while also understanding how the language works. As a native Spanish speaker from Argentina with more than six years of teaching experience, I try to create lessons that are engaging, practical, and adapted to each student’s goals.

My teaching style focuses on communication and real-life use of the language, while also building a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary. I believe students learn best when they actively use Spanish, so my lessons include plenty of conversation, guided practice, and interactive activities. At the same time, I make sure to explain concepts clearly so students understand why things work the way they do.

A typical lesson usually starts with a short conversation or review of what we learned before. Then we focus on a specific topic such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, or conversation practice. I like to include real-life examples and practical exercises so students can immediately apply what they learn. At the end of the lesson, we review the key points and talk about ways to keep improving.

What also sets me apart as a tutor is that before we even begin regular lessons, I like to have a short conversation with my students to understand their goals and what they want to achieve with Spanish. Based on that, I create a learning plan that is tailored to them. I also try to incorporate students’ interests into my lessons, whether that’s travel, culture, music, or everyday conversations, so learning Spanish feels relevant and motivating.

My lessons are open to students of different levels. I enjoy working with beginners who are just starting, as well as intermediate and advanced students who want to improve their fluency, grammar, or confidence speaking. I also help students preparing for school or university classes, and anyone interested in learning Spanish for travel, work, or personal interest.
