About Sol

I’m Sol, originally from Murcia, Spain. My academic background includes a degree in Translation and Interpreting and two postgraduate degrees in Institutional Translation and Teacher Training. I’ve always loved sharing my language and my culture with others. Moving to the UK has made me realise how enriching it is to connect with people through Spanish, whether it’s helping someone feel more confident while travelling, supporting their studies, or simply opening a door to a new world. I’m a very friendly and patient person, and I enjoy creating lessons where my students feel comfortable, supported and genuinely motivated. I love making learning fun and practical, and I adapt easily to different personalities and goals. Seeing my students improve is honestly one of the best feelings.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are dynamic, supportive and fully adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on helping learners gain confidence, improve their communication skills and understand everyday Spanish. I combine clear explanations with speaking-based activities, games and practical examples so that students stay motivated and enjoy learning. I always create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s how we learn best! Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although I can adapt to what the student needs. I use structured materials, personalised worksheets, pronunciation practice and cultural content to make Spanish engaging and meaningful. My lessons are ideal for: GCSE and A-Level students who want extra support or want to boost their grades, beginners who want to start speaking Spanish from day one, children needing fun and motivating lessons or adults who want practical Spanish for travel, conversation or work. Every class is personalised and designed to help you progress quickly. Enjoy the process!
