About Karen

My name is Karen, I am twenty years old and I am from Spain. I have been teaching English and Spanish for five years now, and I love it. Even though my lessons are for everyone, it is always very rewarding watching children grow up through the process of learning a new language. Sometimes, people first come to my classes feeling that they do not enjoy the language and that all they need is to pass an exam. However, they usually end up realising that, Spanish was never the problem, but the way their teachers would address the subject at school.

About the lesson

I have five years of experience in the teaching field as an English and Spanish tutor, and I could not enjoy it more. The organisation of the lessons depends on the level and age of the student. When it comes to kids, I like teaching with games, since it is the most efficient way to acquire the language. However, if the person looking for the classes is an adult, I will organise the classes we have per week, so that we can have all the fields (reading, listening, writing, speaking vocabulary and grammar) covered by the end of two weeks. Normally, the lessons do not last more than one hour. Nevertheless, that is totally apt to the student.
