About Mercedes

In 2016 I obtained the Spanish Teacher Certificate as a Foreign Language (ELE). After that I moved to London when I started to combine my Art studies with being Spanish teacher, which I really enjoyed since the beginning.
Since then I've had a great number of students of all ages and levels. From beginners, university language students to kids (6 and 8 years) and adults wanting to improve their skills.
Every student have their own objectives, and I tailor the classes depending of them. I work with all levels and ages.

About the lesson

I am a enthusiastic, flexible and positive person. I like to create a nice environment with the student, with dynamic communication, preparing their classes depending of their levels and interests.
With the lower levels I tend to use a book which helps to cover everything, and follow a structure, together with extra documentation. As many lessons became online with the lockdown, I've been introducing many articles into our lessons which have introduce interesting topics of discussion.
On higher levels we will focus in the mistakes and doubts to refine skills. With that students we normally base the class in the spoken Spanish, for which I'll try to introduce interesting subjects.
