About Alison

I am I liscenced English teacher. I studied at the University of Northern Colorado in the USA. I have 5 years of experience, I have worked with children from 5 years old to adults 50 years old. I received my degree in Education with two concentrations: in bilingual education (English and Spanish) and in teaching English as a second language.

About the lesson

I like to have a lot of interaction in my classes. I want my students to immediately start using English, no matter their level. I strive to incorporate real resources into my classes (videos, books, articles, announcements, menus, letters, songs, etc). But in the end, teaching and learning is something very personal, so each class is different because all my students are different.

Muchos años estudiando inglés con maestros que sólo te hacían sentir mal, Alison es la maestra maestra que he tenido, te explica todo detalladamente, no importa cuántas veces lo hace, siempre es de la mejor manera. Sus clases son muy entretenidas, dinámicas , nunca te aburres ¡La recomiendo completamente!

Alison is a great teacher and an amazing person, you immediately feel very comfortable around her and she will definitely make you enjoy the process of learning or improving your English skills. Depending on your individual objectives she will use different learning methods, in my case it was more about boosting my level of confidence in my current skills, plus expanding my vocabulary and learning new idioms, this was very useful as I joined a company that has its HQs in the US.
