About Pierre

Teaching, especially Afrikaans, has always been a passion of mine. I was born and raised in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, where L1 is predominantly English and therefore consider myself at a high level of proficiency. I also speak Afrikaans fluently as well as a bit of German and Zulu.
It would be an enormous honor, challenge and privilege should I be allowed to help you/your learners to Read, Write, Listen To and Speak Afrikaans.

About the lesson

First we discuss what You would like to learn about, we structure lessons around that subject and discuss as much around the What, Where, When, How etc of the subject.
Should you be a real novice, we will be using a method called 'PPP'., Presentation (by me), Practice (you), Production (you). With this method you will find much more time for questions and you will be speaking a lot more.
