About Amanda
My name is Amanda Silva. I am originally from Venezuela and I currently reside in the UK.
I was raised by two amazing parents, one a university lecturer and another a graduate in Latin-American literature, giving me the perfect combination of passion towards education, mentoring, reading, literature, coaching and even poetry and entrepreneurship.
I enjoy learning about different cultures and consider myself a good listener. My biggest goal when tutoring is to make sure that my students are enjoying what they are learning, but, most importantly, that they find it helpful to reach their personal goals.

Lessons can vary from 30-60 minutes, depending on the student's time.
We will practice speaking, reading, listening and writing with a friendly approach but focusing on correct pronunciation and grammar.
The student's personal interests will be taken into account to personalise each lesson (Spanish for school, work, sports, travel, or any other specific interest) and to make sure that the vocabulary is useful for them.
The tutor is a grammar enthusiast in both English and Spanish! Ensuring that the language is taught accurately.
Additionally, the student will receive recommendations to improve their Spanish even further doing activities they can enjoy.
