About Cheryl

As a Malaysian Chinese who graduated from a Chinese Independent High School, I am fluent in both Chinese and English, with Chinese being my first language and English my second. Throughout my education, I have mastered the intricacies of both languages, enabling me to switch between them with ease. My proficiency in English is such that I have no difficulties teaching in it, despite it being my second language.

My journey in education has also led me to gain valuable experience as a Chinese tutor in Malaysia, where I had the privilege of teaching Chinese to primary school students. This experience has not only honed my teaching skills but also deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by learners of Chinese. It is through this lens that I approach teaching, with a focus on overcoming these challenges and making the learning process as smooth as possible.

My aspiration to teach Chinese here stems from a desire to share my knowledge and passion for the language with others. I am driven by the belief that learning Chinese can open new doors and provide valuable opportunities, both personally and professionally. It is my hope to assist anyone with a passion for learning Chinese, to make your journey in mastering this beautiful language easier and more enjoyable.
