About Satomi

はじめまして。My name is Satomi, and I’m a 31-year-old native Japanese speaker living in the Northeast of England for the past 4 years. Teaching has been my passion since the early days of my career, and I love helping students reach their goals. I understand that self-studying can sometimes feel boring and demotivating. I’m here to help you! Seeing my students grow and succeed is the most rewarding part of teaching, and I’d love to support you on your Japanese learning journey. Outside teaching, I enjoy spending my time in drawing, listening to music, playing with my cat :)

About the lesson

こんにちは！I’m a native Japanese speaker with experience teaching students of all levels, from teenagers to adults. My lessons are friendly, interactive, and fun, making learning Japanese an enjoyable experience! I can offer different types of sessions - such as basic grammar learning, vocabulary quiz, role-playing conversations, tips for learning Kanji. I specialise in N5/N4 level lessons, but I customise each session based on your goals - whether you’re studying for the JLPT, planning a trip to Japan or just want to improve your conversation skills.
