About John
I've traveled extensively around the world including living in Denmark, Poland, and even India. I've taught learners from all walks of life and adjust my lessons specifically for the needs of the student.
My background is in Engineering, with a degree from Clemson University in 2005. Originally I'm from Richmond, Virginia in the United States.
With over 15 years experience teaching ESL, I'm confident I can help you improve your English skills with fun and engaging lessons.

I use the direct and communicative method of teaching English. We focus on topics that are engaging to the individual learner. Lessons typically involve a warm-up to get speaking, quick review of vocabulary homework, and then a discussion around the topic of the day.
I've lived in Europe for more than 12 years and have taught students from all over the world, ages 5 - 50+. My lessons are for learners of all levels.
