About Grant
I'm a TEFL Certified English Teacher with a degree in Business and Finance. I'm a native English speaker from Texas in the USA but also speak Spanish, French and a little German. I love the process of learning languages and seeing my students make progress with English. For the past year, I've been working as an English teacher helping business professionals from Chile improve their English so they can take advantage of more opportunities abroad.
Many people think that learning a new language is long and boring process but I think that is only half correct. It doesn't have to be boring.For this reason, my style is relaxed and fun. We will still practice grammar but focus more on reading, listening, and speaking activities about things that interest you.

I believe that learning a new language successfully requires two things. Understanding the basics of grammar and finding a fun way to practice using and understanding the language in context (books, movies, comics, youtube videos, etc). This is why we take a hybrid approach to learning in my classes, we spend some time learning from a book but also make sure to have fun and use the things that you like and interest you to learn.
I specialize in teaching adults general English and Business English as well. I speak Spanish, French and a little German but can teach anyone English no matter what their first language is.
We can work on improving your English in general but can also focus on improvingspecific areas like reading & listening comprehension, speaking, pronunciation, writing , etc. My goal for each class is that the students learn have fun and get a little closer to their goal of mastering English.
