About Anastasiia

Привіт! My name is Anastasiia, and I am a native Ukrainian speaker with a degree in Ukrainian Language and Literature from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

I have more than 5 years of experience teaching Ukrainian to English-speaking students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I teach both adults and children.

I am also happy to teach Ukrainian children (from 5 years old) who live in an English-speaking environment and would like to maintain, improve, or develop their Ukrainian language skills.

As a Ukrainian born and raised in Kyiv, preserving and sharing my language and culture is deeply important to me. I believe that language is a powerful connection to our identity, history, and roots. This is why I am passionate about teaching Ukrainian not only to those discovering the language for the first time, but also to Ukrainian children growing up abroad who want to maintain a strong connection to their heritage. Helping students communicate confidently in Ukrainian while fostering an appreciation for Ukrainian culture is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
