About Megumi

Hello! My name is Megumi. I worked as a civil servant for six years, then worked as a baker in France, and now I'm working in Tokyo. In France, I obtained the national qualification for bakery work (CAP Boulanger)! French: B2 level English: B2 level Spanish: Currently studying I've traveled to over 12 countries and love traveling. My favorite food is baguettes, and when I travel, I love visiting bakeries in the country I'm in. I also enjoy drawing in art museums, anime, dramas, and movies. My friends often tell me I'm a positive person. I hope to use my positive energy to create fun lessons together with you.

About the lesson

My lessons are perfect for beginners, and I offer support in French or English as needed. Conversation: Acquire travel conversation skills (e.g., when shopping or asking about destinations) - Acquire work-related Japanese skills (e.g., conversational and word usage when speaking with coworkers) - Conversational expressions and onomatopoeia used among friends Grammar: Learn how to use and read hiragana, katakana, and kanji - The meaning of words spoken by characters in anime and manga Listening: Practice listening comprehension using video sites like YouTube - Practice listening with your favorite anime I'll tailor lessons to your interests and goals. Lessons are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere, so it's okay to make mistakes! Feel free to speak with confidence! I have experience as a baker in both Japan and France, so I can talk about differences in working styles between Japan and France. As a former language learner myself, I believe the most important aspects of language learning are the peace of mind that comes with making mistakes and finding a learning method that suits you. That's why, even in my Japanese lessons, I'll advise you on the best learning method for you and make sure you stay engaged and have fun.
