Teaching Method and Techniques: My approach to guitar teaching is centered on building a strong foundation in the basics while nurturing a love for music. I use a blend of structured exercises and personalized, hands-on learning. This includes chord progressions, strumming patterns, fingerpicking techniques, and basic music theory in a simple and approachable way. I also focus on ear training and rhythm skills to develop well-rounded musicianship. I encourage students to bring songs they love to class, as applying techniques to familiar music keeps learning fun and engaging.
Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson begins with warm-ups and reviewing previous work. New techniques are introduced, applied to a song, and finished with a fun challenge. Lessons are personalized to the student’s goals and pace.
