About Stuart
I'm a New Zealander living in the US. I just moved here from Japan. I had been living, in Tokyo and then Nara, for 13 years, so I have a good understanding of Japanese and the culture too. I love music, reading, sewing, and getting outdoors. I am actually trying to develop my stand-up comedy skills too. I try to perform regularly. I love laughing and not taking everything too seriously.

If you are tired of talking about the weather every chat these lessons are for you.
In these lessons we'll start off by finding out about each other and what interests you. We'll work on asking the right questions that will lead onto more interesting, meaningful, and insightful conversations.
I'll direct you with more natural ways to say things and develop your vocabulary along the way. I may assign some simple home work if you like. I think some homework (even just a little) really cements the lessons.
We'll develop little by little, but I guarantee you'll see improvement over time.
