About Helen
I have been teaching music on a multitude of musical instruments for more than 15 years, the youngest being 3 years old, the oldest 74! Many of my past students have gone on to play in bands, be excepted into performing arts schools, music conservatoriums, and create their own albums.
I and have been involved in some of the top grade orchestras and similar bands, as well as a year abroad in the United States, performing with an award winning marching band.
I also studied at the Conservatorium of Music, played and won in local, state and national competitions, and conducted concert bands.

Hello there! I am an experienced musician and teacher with spots available for new students around Merewether and The Junction (Newcastle NSW) as well as anywhere in the world via webcam, Skype or Facebook Messenger video calls.
I teach trumpet (and all other brass), guitar, drums, clarinet, piano, music theory and reading music to all ages and levels.
Lesson lengths are available for 30 minute, 1 hour and 2 hour lessons, either on a fortnightly, weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Young or old, beginner or expert, my lessons are always suited to your needs, and in a friendly safe environment. Parents, you can choose to sit in with me and your child, relax on the balcony, or pop down to get some shopping done while the lessons are going.
I always prepare and provide lessons to suit the individual student's wants and needs.
