About Sophie
After over 10 years of studying French, living in Paris, and completing my honors thesis, I can't wait to share my knowledge with others who are passionate about advancing their practice. For a year of my undergraduate experience, I participated in an immersive field-study exchange where I interned with a renowned ceramist in Paris while enrolled in several immersive literature and history courses. From this exchange, I truly gained a ton—not only language experience, but also learned about the current (and past) political, societal, and cultural atmosphere in France. In addition to my French studies, I have lots of experience with elementary to high school-aged kids, having previously worked as a camp counselor, babysitter, and swim instructor.
