I've been a nurse for 10 years and have worked in a variety of specialties (including medical surgical units, step-down units, and intensive care units) . Throughout the years I have trained a lot of new nurses and have come to realize how scary they make things sound during nursing school and how different things are in real life. Don't listen to those professors who haven't been at the bedside for over two decades and who take themselves WAY too seriously. Let's just get you through your classes so you can finally start experiencing how exciting and fun the nursing profession can be!

Let's be honest, nursing school sucks. The class material is often overcomplicated, tedious, and boring. BUT it doesn't have to be that way! I will make sure to come up with teaching methods that work for you by keeping things fun and simple. My specialties are pathophysiology, pharmacology, and evidence based practice. Let me know what you're struggling with and together we'll make sure that things start making sense.
