About Ruby Rose
I am currently doing a degree in filmmaking at kingston university; the degree involves a lot of personal reading and essay writing using the Harvard essay system. I’m super passionate about anything creative; art, literature, history, cinema. I struggled with finding ways to revise during my gcse’s so I tried a range of methods from flash cards to making little films to remember things. I hope my efforts can help your child achieve the grades they need!

I take a range of approaches to teaching because every student learns differently. Some students need step-by-step explanations while some need physical examples or metaphors to explain certain aspects. I try to cater to all students and if one method doesn’t work (eg: PEED paragraph method) then we will try as many other ways as possible. With english literature, to help students familiarise themselves with the texts I will show them the material through different formats such as books, plays, films, bullet point list etc…
