About Kristy
I am an Occupational Therapist based in South Africa. I am commencing my masters degree in the field of psychiatry in 2020. I have a passion for people, and helping them achieve their highest level of functioning despite the presence of psychological compromise and mood symptoms. I have been involved in community development projects in Kenya, as well as been offering functional capacity evaluations and treatment for almost two years.

I draw from my honours degree training occupation-based intervention. IE. Practical changes in routine, balanced lifestyle, activation, engagement, ect. A degree of Mode Deactivation Therapy
I will first listen tentatively to your challenges and concerns, as well as your amibitions. Then we will set up realistic and non-intimidating progressive goals to achieve your desired level of functioning.
