About Emily
I am an Occupational Therapist in the Chicagoland area and work with students of all ages. I love to help students with their writing lessons during and after school days. I love to swim, journal, and work with students. I have also worked with students during summer school on skills such as advocacy, executive functioning, and writing.

My teaching style is to motivate students through rapport building and inspiration. I enjoy teaching students writing principles for essays and written communication through enthusiasm and motivation. I teach concepts for essay writing and allow students to learn through trial and error as well. I believe in positive reinforcement, patience, and explaining to students why what they are learning is important.
