About Linda
Hi, I'm Linda, an Occupational Therapist with over 13 years of experience. I am passionate about Occupational Therapy, with a special interest in mental health, addiction intervention and group therapy, although I do have experience in other areas as well.
I have mentored and supervised students for my entire career and I can honestly say it is one of my favourite parts of the job. Working for the Department of Health for 11 years meant supervising students all year long - something I took very seriously.
I have a calm, practical and holistic way of approaching students and I am proud to say that I am very good at tutoring and/mentoring.

ONLINE and IN-PERSON OT STUDENT MENTORING — NOW OPEN
Are you an Occupational Therapy student who is struggling with clinical reasoning, placement preparation, treatment planning, case studies or simply feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start?
I'm an experienced Occupational Therapist with 13+ years of clinical experience across mental health, addictions, paediatrics and community practice, as well as extensive experience supervising and mentoring OT students.
I'm opening a small number of online and in-person OT mentoring sessions for students who would like practical, experienced guidance.
Sessions can cover:
• Clinical reasoning
• Case studies
• Treatment planning
• Intervention planning
• Assessment interpretation
• Session planning
• Clinical placement preparation
• Assignment/presentation guidance
• Preparing for difficult cases
• Building confidence in clinical practice
Online sessions via video call
In-person sessions also available

Introductory rate: R450/session
**I am willing to offer tutoring to small groups at a discounted rate - please enquire regarding fee structure**
I also offer discounted 3-session packages for students who need ongoing support.
