About Marina
I am a graduate in Humanities with a major in History from the University of Deusto; I carried out my ERASMUS stay at the University of Manchester (England), and I have the Advance Certificate of Cambridge (C1).
As for my work experience, I worked for more than a year in the English academy LingoHub in Usansolo (Bizkaia), with more than 100 students, of different ages, between 2 and 13 years old, and using the Montessori method (with dynamics, games and project-based learning).
I also gave extracurricular English classes in 3 schools for a couple of months, to students in 1st, 2nd and 6th grade of primary school.
The children and young people acquired knowledge quickly, especially in terms of LISTENING, as all communication was in English. Some of them obtained Cambridge level certificates, and they certainly enjoyed the class dynamics while they were learning.
In addition, I can assure you that I have a very good relationship with children and young people, I love working with them, not only because of the experience, but also because I have a lot of patience with them, to listen to them, to encourage them and to capture their attention. This is thanks to the fact that I have two little twin brothers who I play with and help with their homework, and a sister with Down Syndrome who I have always helped with her learning.

I have worked for more than a year with children in an English academy in Usansolo where I used Montessori methodology and learning through games and projects, very dynamic. As a teacher with children, this would be the type of method I would use, alternating it with the book they are using at school or high school, in a complementary way.
For older students, or adults, I would keep that dynamism but I would put more emphasis on the theoretical lessons, and above all, I would work a lot on speaking, creating situations in which the students are forced to speak and develop, but leaving space for some more recreational activities.
I also speak Basque and I can express myself perfectly, in case the student prefers to ask me questions in Basque.
