About Sarah
I’m a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate who understands what it’s like to struggle in school. Growing up, I faced learning differences that made reading and studying feel frustrating and discouraging. I didn’t enjoy reading until I learned to approach it in a way that worked for my brain, discovering strategies that made learning feel accessible and even enjoyable. I credit much of my later success to dedicated tutors who supported me beyond just completing assignments, helping me build confidence, organization, and a genuine love of learning.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and personalized to each student’s learning style. I begin by identifying areas of strength and growth, then design lessons that build clarity, confidence, and skill. Sessions often include close reading, writing practice, and guided feedback to strengthen comprehension, grammar, and expression. I also help students develop academic organization and writing strategies—planning essays, outlining ideas, and revising effectively. My goal is to make English approachable while helping students find their own voice and rhythm as learners.
