About Rebecca
"Confidence arrives when your hands and ears finally agree on the fretboard. You will start by grounding your technique in solid habits that make improvisation feel easy rather than daunting. My 13 years of experience allow me to break down complex electric and acoustic skills into manageable chunks for kids and intermediate learners. We move through ear training and soloing with a rhythm that respects your pace.
I emphasise the practical application of theory so you understand exactly why a specific chord choice works. Because I am a specialist in exam preparation, we can incorporate formal milestones if you decide to pursue that route.
Every session builds on the last to ensure your maintenance and tuning habits become second nature. You will develop a deep appreciation for the mechanics behind the music you love. I want you to walk away feeling like you have truly mastered a new riff. We can just take it from there."

"Holding an MMus Voice from the Royal Northern College of Music provides a unique perspective on musicality that I bring to my guitar instruction. Have you ever wondered how a classical foundation might sharpen your approach to blues progressions or electric technique?
My 11 years of performance experience across the UK have informed how I teach everything from acoustic fingerpicking to improvisation. I enjoy helping kids and absolute beginners navigate the nuances of tuning and maintenance.
