About Caroline

I have studied Afrikaans FAL since Grade 1 at school. I have been a straight A student in this subject and achieved a final Matric mark of 85%. I have formal experience with tutoring this subject, mainly with grade 11 and matric.

I have plenty of experience with tutoring online.
I've found that the student can follow along easier and it saves both parties lots of time without the travel.

About the lesson

I am a Bcom Accounting Science graduate from the University of Pretoria. I am now doing my honours degree. I have developed many ways to help me study and achieve good marks, and hope to pass it on. My teaching method is pretty straight forward. I will be giving study tips, helping the student prepare for tests, doing practice questions and past papers, and explaining concepts thoroughly. I have plenty of formal experience tutoring this subject. I have tutored grade 9,10,11 and matric Afrikaans. My most recent pupil went from a 40% to a 62% in just a few months.

Deadly! I had engaged with Caroline as my son really struggled with Afrikaans at school from primary to secondary school. After just a few months of lessons, my son jumped from a borderline pass mark of 40% to 62%. My son said he likes the way Caroline tutors and explains the subject which has helped him to understand Afrikaans from the basics. I am really impressed with Caroline's patience and teaching methods which are clearly visible in my son's progress.
