About Peaches
I am a professional dancer living in LA. I love to perform, choreograph, and share in the joy of all things creative.
My relationship with dance began in a ballet studio where I gained the base of my technique and understanding of my body. I use what I learned from ballet and apply it to all other forms of dance.
It wasn’t until college that I expanded into modern dance. It was the beginning of my deep devotion to floor work and organic movement. It showed me how to accept and express parts of me that didn’t fit into the ballet world. Like a sickle foot and a turned in leg. I was suddenly allowed to see this as beautiful and this translated to me on a personal level.
I took this new freedom to the air when I began training in aerial. This taught me how determination and willpower can help you over come fear. It gave me the confidence to believe in my abilities. To have faith that I will grow.
I will never forget the moment I met my first heels teacher. It was seeing a part of me I always wanted to express. I wanted to accept the sensual side of me. To embrace it and to not be ashamed. It is natural for our bodies to move. It is beautiful to allow yourself to be authentic in what movements come from your body. It was empowering for me (and still is) to accept and embrace this aspect of me.
Pole dancing is another way for me to express this. I love the combination of strength and trust it requires.
Some of my favorite classes were the dance conditioning ones. It’s a time to listen to the body. To strengthen and improve flexibility. I find that it’s a great way to prevent injuries and to keep the body in dancing shape.

Lessons will be created to fit each students individual desires on what they want to achieve/learn. It is important to me that you feel accomplished and challenged during each lesson.
It inspires me to see my students grow!
To me everything is dance, and when you add intention it becomes a story that you are actively participating in. This is what I find so freeing about it, like when you’re reading a really good book and you aren’t seeing the words or even the pages in front of you anymore. That’s how I feel when I am immersed in the story. It becomes something that is living in my head as well as my body.
I enjoy using imagery to help bring my students into the awareness of their bodies and open their imaginations.
