About Brian

Hello! I'm Brian, a music tutor with several years of experience teaching guitar and singing to beginners. I started teaching right out of high school and have taught on and off over the years. I enjoy helping people overcome that initial barrier of getting started, which can often feel overwhelming.
Through my experience, I've seen how the right guidance and supportive approach can make learning much more enjoyable and effective. I like to keep lessons simple, encouraging, and focused on real progress so students can build confidence and stay motivated.
For me, teaching is about making music accessible and helping each student improve at their own pace.

I offer relaxed, beginner-friendly lessons in guitar and singing. My focus is on helping you feel comfortable and confident while making progress, whether that's learning new songs, improving your voice, or building basic skills.
I keep lessons relaxed and supportive, making sure you feel comfortable while still improving each session. Whether you're starting from scratch or getting back into music, I'll tailor each lesson to suit your goals.
Lessons can vary between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on your needs and wants. Ultimately I feel this is a choice we make together after our first lesson.
